Last week, you will have likely read about me nowt having a great week. A lot of the blame went towards it being my birthday at the time, but in the end life is for living for not dieting.
As long as I keep to plan in between occasions, I should see a good loss over the course of a month or a year. After all, turning 32 doesn’t mean I have to be fat forever.
This week was much better compared to last week. I kept tracking virtually all my food and kept to my points allowance the best I could. there were a couple of things here and there which weren’t tracked, so it wasn’t a 100% week, but it was a hell of a lot better.

Hectic, that’s how I would describe things at the moment. Between family and work I am finding little time for myself. Little time for myself means fair irregular blog posts. But, I’m trying to set to time aside to fix this.
Things being busy also means other things have taken a little slide of late. Especially in the direction of food. Slimming World is great because when you’re on it, you can often get some amazing weekly results. But there is one catch with Slimming World… you need time. Time to plan, time to prepare and time to execute.
The Slimming World plan is all about cooking healthy food from scratch. Yes there are their own frozen meal range etc, but I refuse to pay those prices – £3.50 for half a meal… I might as well go out for the evening.

It’s that time of week again folks, weigh night. This last week has been a long week, so it feels anyway. It’s certainly been a long slog and I’m still tired from the weekend, even though today is Thursday.
I’ve been on-call with work this last week. Often we don’t get called, but this weekend I did, a few times. It started Saturday morning at 3am. Anyone who currently attends a regular Slimming World group will know that from the end of December there are some planned changes to the lifestyle change we’re undergoing (don’t ever call Slimming World a diet, they’ll bury you alive). So far we were told there are some exciting changes, things we will be able to have more of, some things less off and we’ll be getting shiny new packs which will cover the changes in the plan.
Nothing can be kept a secret these days and as much as companies try to keep secrets, social media as it is today will allow anyone to spill the beans. Surprise, surprise someone let loose what the changes are – even though we’re not meant to know for another good 5 weeks. This ‘leak’ has lead to our Consultant having to take to our closed Facebook Group to let us know the changes now, so as to not confuse us with anything from Social Media (let’s face it, it being on Facebook doesn’t mean it’s true unless you trust the source).
