Wifey has really been experimenting of late with some different ideas for Breakfast. We like new things rather than being stuck with the same things to eat week-in-week-out. We also have a requirement of being able to take breakfast to work to eat.
This leads to being creative while trying to keep eating healthy. Different flavours and different textures are all popping up right now. Just last week we had some Savoury Breakfast Muffins which were so versatile it’s unreal.
This week’s little creation is still muffin themed, but rather than the texture of an omelette, it’s really more of what a muffin is. I love these little muffins because they’re also ideal if heading out for some exercise early on. If I was to go out on the bike early doors, these are ideal for chucking down my neck before heading out.

I’m nearly two weeks into Challenge 50 now. Have I lost weight – no, have I covered some decent miles on the bike – not as much as I would have liked.
The weight thing has been a problem in recent weeks. My previous post, 1 Step Forward, 2 Steps Backwards, I explained how I was actually heavier at that point than I was when I started the change to WW. I have a membership with WW until September and there is no way of cancelling it early, though they have given me a free month due to my struggles.
I have enjoyed cooking again though. Every now and then I go through a period of wanting to cook, instead of just letting the wife sort dinner. One of the nicest meals I’ve cooked lately I had to blog about, the Chilli & Paprika Chicken Kebab with Pesto Pasta was just awesome! So much flavour in one dish and very filling. The picture of this even got a fair few likes on Instagram too.

Plenty of people have heard of Nando’s, that chicken restaurant that sells, well, chicken. Chicken can come plain, it can come a little spicey, a medium spicy and very spicy. However, you like your chicken chances are you’ll find it served like that at Nando’s.
Being on Slimming World, Nando’s is a great place to go for something to eat and keep to plan. If you have chicken with a side salad and corn on the cob it’s free of syns (as long as you remove the skin from the chicken). There aren’t many places you can eat out for so little syns.
